The Legend of the Lawns is now fully released!

After a year of development, the official full release for The Legend of the Lawns is now available! It feels good to finally finish this project and be able to share it with the rest of the world. I’m not sure how many people will ultimately see or play it, but I’m glad that I have completed everything that I wanted to make for this game.
If you’re interested, you can check out the game on itch.io.
A huge thank you to all the people that volunteered and helped me out with the game: gldeA (who helped with programming at the start of development), Bridget Wu (who helped with some art), and Tarin (who made the music). I mostly worked on the programming and art.
So, what’s next?
I do intend on moving on and starting a new project that I can work on but for now, I kind of just want a break from developing things and instead just relax. I also have an internship this summer so that will take up a decent amount of my time so I probably won’t start on anything for a month or two (or at least until I feel like I want to). I have an idea for a potential project I can work on but who knows, my plans could change. We will just have to see.
As for the future of Birb Games, I probably will be aiming to develop games mostly solo for the time being - it was very fun to be able to work with others on LotL but I think that I just want to work on a project that I know is going to be mostly by myself for now. So for now, Birb Games is going to go into hibernation for a while. I’m not sure when I might return to it, but it will probably be a a good amount of time. Or who knows, maybe this chapter of my game development journey will end and I’ll have to move onto other things. Like I said in the above paragraph, we will just have to see.
Anyway, that’s most of what I wanted to give updates on, have a nice day!
